Meaning ragged, Boro-Boro bag is hand-stitched from indigo and textiles dating back to pre-war Japan.

A time when cotton was still a precious material, families would keep and pass down patches of textile, reusing it to the point where the original cloth was no longer recognizable. Whats left is something new, yet steeped in history.

Boro-Boro consists of…

  • 2 compartments with 3 large pockets and 1 hidden

  • “5 Yen Coin” magnetic snap & YKK zippers

  • Adjustable back straps

  • Calfskin base & 75 year old Japanese textiles

  • Hand-stitched details

  • Wool Lining
